Our New collaboration with Sauna & Sea gives you the chance to experience a 1 hour beginner Surf lesson and a 1 hour experience in the sauna at the beautiful Portstewart Strand on the North Coast.
The Surf lesson starts first on the day with the Sauna after to warm up.
Time & Style options are Private group sessions :
10am - 6pm Select time slot in schedule your time button .This offer is for a maximum of 8 people for a private experience and the minimum age is 17.
Before you book things to know
Sauna
You must not use the Sauna if you suffer from high or low blood pressure or any heart or circulatory disorder or suffer from epilepsy or diabetes; are pregnant; or are prone to dizziness or fainting. All people using the sea as a 'cold plunge' do so at their own risk.
Surf lesson
You must be able to swim 50m in a pool or open water. All participants must make us aware of any medical conditions, illnesses or allergies they may have and any prescribed medication they are taking. No-one should participate in any of SUB6 activities if they are suffering from a heart condition or if they are pregnant.
What’s included:
✅ All surf equipment
✅ Winter wetsuits with boots , gloves and hoods provided
✅ Changing Area for Surf and Sauna
✅ 1 hour beginner Surf lesson (30min change time before and after )
✅ 1 hour Sauna experience beside the sea so you can dip and warm up .
✅ Hot drink and water

What to bring
If you have your own wetsuit please bring it along, If not we include a wetsuit in the price and will provide the right size on the day.

- Towel
- Changing robe if you have one
- Water
When to arrive
Arrive at the start time of the lesson so for example if your booking is 10.30am - 2pm then arrive at 10.30am, this includes changing time.
We operate on a National Trust Paid Beach so options are :
- Pay onto beach or use your National Trust membership if you have it.
- Park close by the beach and walk down for free, we recommend near Portstewart Golf Club on the road down to the beach.
