Harley Ingleby Surfboards - Thunderbolt technology
HARLEY INGLEBY SERIES
He started surfing at the age of 4. His first surfboard was a reused shortboard that his father had broken. It was a 5-foot-6-inch longboard. From then on, he learned to surf on the surfboards that his father had in his collection.
By the time he graduated from high school, his surfing skills had improved to the point where he was competing in both shortboard and longboard competitions, but he continued to gravitate towards longboarding because it was more fun and he had more friends.
After graduating, he participated in the Australian longboard circuit and began competing in WLT competitions in 2006. In 2008, he won the French competition and placed third in the final rankings. In 2009, he won the Tahara Pro in Japan and placed second in the Maldives, earning him the world title. He also made his presence felt in the shortboard world in the surf movie "Inner Section VOL.2" produced by Taylor Steele.
After winning another world title in 2014, he retired from the competition scene and has been working with surfboard designer Billy Tolhurst on board design, developing longboards that offer high performance and fun.
SHAPER - HARLEY INGLEBY SERIES
BILLY TOLHUST - TOLHURST SURFBOARDS
The HI series is attractive for its high quality, which is a condensed version of the world view of Harley Ingleby, a talented surfer from Australia who won the world title in 2009 and 2014.
The surfboards used by this genius, who skillfully rides everything from retro-style shortboards to modern high-performance longboards, are made by equally talented shaper Billy Tolhurst.
The riding feel is that of a longboard, but it can be controlled as lightly as a shortboard, ensuring steady level-ups. In addition, there is a wide range of models with a fun old-school feel.
